Engineering Manager – AI Engineering & LLM Systems

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Machine Learning Engineering team within ASUS Intelligent Cloud Service (AICS). The role focuses on building production‑ready large language model (LLM) applications, AI infrastructure, and clinical AI systems that enhance healthcare workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing team of Machine Learning Engineers.
• Design, develop and deploy scalable LLM‑based applications and AI services.
• Establish end‑to‑end AI engineering workflows covering model evaluation, experimentation, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Drive the creation of agentic AI capabilities, including multi‑agent orchestration, tool integration, memory management and workflow automation.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices for software quality, testing and MLOps.
• Collaborate with AI Research, Product and Software Engineering teams to translate research into production‑grade products.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies and integrate innovative techniques to boost product quality and engineering productivity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software, machine learning or AI engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical engineering teams.
• Proven track record of delivering AI products to production environments.
