Engineering Technician – Maintenance (Serviced Residence)

About the role

The Engineering Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and facilities within a serviced residence. Working closely with Housekeeping and Guest Services, the role ensures a comfortable and safe stay for guests at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain building conditions, ensuring heating, lighting, ventilation and other systems are functional.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs such as painting, wall patching, plumbing, air‑conditioning servicing, electrical switches and other fixtures.
• Execute routine preventive‑maintenance programmes.
• Inspect and check building machinery and equipment.
• Respond to and prioritize maintenance work orders (MWO) and guest requests promptly.

Required profile

• Professional Certificate/NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical or Air‑conditioning Maintenance or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 1 year of related experience in the hospitality industry.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, self‑motivated and able to work rotating shifts.
