F&B Shift Leader – Akira Back

About the role

Join Marriott International as an F&B Shift Leader at Akira Back, located on 30 Beach Road, Singapore. You will be the front‑line host who creates memorable dining experiences, ensuring guests receive attentive service, high‑quality food and drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, set tables, and present menus in a courteous manner.
• Communicate guest orders accurately to the kitchen and coordinate timing of service.
• Serve food and beverages, handle payments, and ensure correct billing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, workstations, and service equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and report any shortages.
• Uphold health, safety and quality standards throughout the shift.
• Assist in training and guiding junior team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
