Finance Manager, Regulatory Reporting

About the role

The Finance Manager, Regulatory Reporting, is part of the External Reporting team within ING Wholesale Banking Asia. You will ensure the accuracy of client static data and act as a gatekeeper for information used in local regulatory reporting, collaborating with internal stakeholders across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in customer static data tagging and provide advice for regulatory reporting.
• Work closely with business units and stakeholders to interpret and apply SSIC and MAS guidelines, resolving complex queries.
• Lead finance innovation projects to refine regulatory and statutory reporting templates, improving efficiency and quality.
• Execute reconciliation of complex statutory and regulatory reports, identifying patterns and delivering actionable recommendations.
• Identify and manage stakeholder needs up to management level, ensuring clear communication and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Support internal controls by focusing on operational efficiency, reliable reporting, regulatory compliance, and asset safeguarding.
• Act as a proactive business partner and advisor for internal teams in all reporting areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an audit background or CPA/ACCA qualification.
• Hands‑on experience preparing and reviewing regulatory reports and responding to regulator requests.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills and proven ability to influence business decisions.
• Knowledge of wholesale banking products and local MAS reporting requirements is an advantage.
