Finance Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Finance Manager will join the Finance Team in Singapore, overseeing controls and reporting for a MAS‑licensed entity engaged in global equity, fixed income, derivatives trading and wealth management. The role ensures accurate financial accounting, regulatory compliance and timely reporting across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day financial accounting and month‑end closing for the trading entity, including trade interface review, balance reconciliation and data analysis.
• Calculate and monitor daily risk‑based capital adequacy requirements for the MAS‑licensed entity.
• Prepare quarterly regulatory filings and GST computations.
• Liaise with local, regional and head‑office finance teams to deliver accurate financial reports.
• Maintain streamlined controls and processes across group entities.
• Support statutory account preparation, external audit coordination and tax provision for entities managed by the Singapore Finance Team.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects, providing insights and expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related discipline; CPA qualified or progressing towards qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial institutions.
• Experience with Singapore regulatory capital adequacy calculations (Capital Market or Banking license).
• Strong command of spoken and written English and excellent presentation skills.
