Financial Analyst

About the role

The Finance Business Support team is looking for a proactive Financial Analyst to provide timely and insightful financial analysis for CBG business units. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, helping the business make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts and lead the annual budgeting process, reviewing assumptions and highlighting risks.
• Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast, delivering clear findings to stakeholders.
• Execute month‑end close activities, ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition in line with accounting standards.
• Analyze product/brand profitability and review cost structures against approved budgets.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to assess the feasibility of new initiatives.
• Support business units with finance‑related queries and provide advice on accounting implications.
• Partner with key stakeholders, offering commercial insight for new business opportunities and investment cases.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Proven problem‑solving ability and comfort handling ambiguity.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Workday.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization.
