Financial Controller (APAC)

About the role

The Financial Controller (APAC) will drive financial transparency and support strategic decision‑making across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will deliver accurate management accounts, insightful analysis, and robust financial planning to enable senior leadership to steer performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue, cost performance and support working capital management.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain cost allocation models, product costing and profitability analysis across markets.
• Support internal controls, compliance and audit requirements in line with corporate and regional standards.
• Partner with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain teams to analyze performance and drive efficiency.
• Prepare management dashboards and KPI tracking for timely leadership reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation and enhanced reporting cycles.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks, special projects and initiatives assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA/CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting/FP&A experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
• Experience working with cross‑functional, multicultural teams, especially sales, within the Asia‑Pacific region.
• Strong analytical skills, business judgement and confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and stakeholder engagement ability.
• Independent, proactive and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
