About the role

As a Forward Deployed Data Scientist Expert at SAP, you will work directly within customer environments, turning complex business challenges into data‑driven solutions. You will design, develop, and apply advanced statistical and machine learning methods to deliver measurable value for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic and operational challenges into rigorous analytical solutions at speed.
• Design, train, and implement mathematical models, algorithms, and machine‑learning pipelines.
• Integrate analytical solutions into products, prototypes, or business processes ensuring enterprise‑grade scalability.
• Define success metrics, quantify business impact, and present actionable recommendations to decision‑makers.
• Lead or manage complex analytical workstreams, handling deliverables, milestones, risks, and escalations.
• Collaborate closely with customer teams to understand data, applications, and business context.
