Frontend Software Engineer (Transaction) – Live Platform

About the role

The TikTok LIVE Platform is building secure and seamless payment experiences for its live streaming ecosystem. As a Frontend Software Engineer focused on transactions, you will develop web and hybrid applications that power TikTok Wallet and Money Platform, ensuring stability, performance, and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop web applications for TikTok Wallet and Money Platform with a focus on security, stability, and efficiency.
• Design and implement high‑performance user interfaces that deliver smooth payment flows.
• Contribute to infrastructure and engineering solutions that support TikTok LIVE business tools.
• Optimize collaboration across remote and cross‑regional teams to accelerate iteration and growth.

Required profile

• Solid front‑end programming experience, including solving browser compatibility issues and performance optimization.
• Understanding of front‑end engineering, component development, and familiarity with at least one MV* framework.
• Excellent service awareness, strong learning ability, and effective communication and collaboration skills in English.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience at a large‑scale internet business.
• Preferred: experience with multi‑end (Native/PC/Server) development, participation in large‑scale or open‑source projects, and writing technical articles or blogs.
