Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to own both our production applications and the AWS infrastructure that powers them. You will work on a React single‑page app, a Django/Channels backend with real‑time WebSocket features, a Node/Express service, and the cloud services that host them.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the React (Create React App) SPA, including code‑splitting, geospatial mapping (OpenLayers) and CAD/BIM viewers (Sketchfab, Autodesk APS/Forge).
• Develop and extend the Django backend and Django Channels real‑time layer, deploying via Daphne and Nginx.
• Own the Celery, Celery Beat and Flower job pipeline for background and scheduled tasks.
• Maintain the Node/Express CommonDB service and integrations such as Autodesk APS/Forge, Stripe and Google Maps.
• Manage the AWS footprint in ap‑southeast‑1 (EC2, ALB, CloudFront, S3, ACM, Route 53) and migrate manual deployments to automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Import existing repositories into Git, establish branching and versioning workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade React applications, preferably with Create React App and code‑splitting.
• Solid Python development background, preferably with Django; familiarity with Django Channels, ASGI and WebSockets is a plus.
• Hands‑on knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, ALB, Route 53) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
