Full Stack Developer

About the role

AsiaOne, a leading digital content destination in Singapore, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with at least 2 years of experience, focusing on front‑end development while also handling back‑end tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and creation of scalable software architecture.
• Develop and maintain front‑end components with emphasis on performance, usability and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain back‑end components, including APIs, database schemas and server‑side logic.
• Write clean, functional code on both client and server sides and ensure cross‑platform optimization.
• Integrate front‑end and back‑end components and implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications across the entire stack.
• Collaborate with development teams and product managers within Agile methodologies.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve efficiency, code quality and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of full‑stack development experience with strong front‑end focus.
• Portfolio of web applications and projects.

Required skills

• React (modern JavaScript ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• Node.js or PHP for server‑side programming.
• RESTful API design and implementation.
• Front‑end build tools (npm, webpack) and state management (Redux, MobX).
• Database systems: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Web servers (Apache, Nginx) and cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools for code generation, review, debugging or testing.
