Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead (Java, React.js, TypeScript)

About the role

Our client in the IT industry is looking for a Full Stack Engineer/Technical Lead to join their dynamic team. This is a 1‑year renewable contract starting in November 2026, based at the Paya Lebar office in Singapore. Working hours are Monday to Friday, office based.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of a secure, scalable cloud‑based web platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into high‑quality software solutions.
• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and optimise database performance.
• Guide developers through code reviews, technical best practices, and engineering standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and cloud‑based environments.
• Drive secure software development practices, resolve security findings, and ensure production readiness.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong proficiency in Java, React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of application security, secure coding practices, authentication, and access control.
