Fullstack Developer – React & Spring Boot

About the role

You will work across the entire technology stack, delivering reliable, well‑tested web applications. The position sits in a regulated environment where accuracy, accountability and compliance are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack applications using React (Vite) for the front‑end and Spring Boot for the back‑end.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, leveraging JPA and SQL for data persistence.
• Containerise applications with Docker to ensure consistent deployment across environments.
• Contribute to AI agent capabilities within the product.
• Set up local API mocking to enable independent front‑end and back‑end development.
• Write and maintain unit tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.
• Use Gradle, Git and Docker as part of the standard development workflow.
• Apply micro‑services patterns for scalable, maintainable services.
• Work with AWS fundamentals for cloud‑hosted components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams while managing your own workstream and deliverables.
• Participate in iterative agile delivery cycles (sprints, reviews, retrospectives).

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Full‑Stack Developer with hands‑on React (Vite) and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of JPA, SQL and REST API design.
• Practical experience with Docker and Git version control.
• Familiarity with Gradle build tooling and micro‑services architecture.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS.
• Experience writing unit tests and using local mocking for independent development.
• Interest in AI agent development is a plus.
• Prior experience in government or regulated‑sector projects is highly desirable.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
