Geospatial Solution Architect

About the role

Kyndryl is seeking a Geospatial Solution Architect to lead the design, modernization, and governance of enterprise GIS platforms. You will shape the geospatial technology strategy, drive cloud adoption, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise geospatial solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise technologies.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation projects.
• Define architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for GIS platforms and services.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient GIS environments across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Collaborate with business, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture reviews, solution design, and complex problem resolution.
• Support platform performance, operational readiness, disaster recovery planning, and continuous service improvement.
• Partner with technology vendors and service providers to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and transforming enterprise GIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud adoption and architecture governance.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.
• Experience ensuring security, scalability, and resilience of mission‑critical systems.
