Global Human Resources Director

About the role

The company is seeking a Global Human Resources Director to lead HR operations across multiple regions, including APAC, the Middle East and LATAM. Reporting to the CHRO, the role will oversee a team of roughly 30 HR professionals in a highly matrixed, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overseas HR operations, ensuring compliance and alignment with Group HR standards.
• Provide hands‑on guidance on recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management and exits.
• Establish service expectations, operating rhythms, escalation protocols and governance frameworks for all overseas markets.
• Develop foundational HR infrastructure such as local handbooks, employment templates, policies and approval matrices.
• Advise on employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, restructurings and disputes.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance and external advisors to manage local employment risk.
• Support workforce planning, headcount budgeting and management reporting with regional business leaders.
• Coordinate global HR rollouts, policies, systems and initiatives with Global HR teams and Centers of Excellence.
• Oversee international mobility, assignee arrangements and cross‑border hiring compliance.
• Coach and develop regional HR teams, fostering capability in operations, policy interpretation and business partnering.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing HR functions in a multinational, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to start up new entities and design complex operational processes.
• Background in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working across APAC, the Middle East and LATAM.
• Strong track record of leading large, diverse HR teams (approximately 30 members).
