Ground Instructor – Pilot Training

About the role

The Ground Instructor will lead classroom‑based training for airline pilots transitioning to Airbus aircraft. Working at Airbus Asia Training Centre, you will ensure that pilots acquire the required theoretical knowledge and successfully pass system and performance examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and training sessions covering operational and technical aspects of specific Airbus types.
• Develop, review and administer examination questions and final exams.
• Instruct crews using full‑flight simulators, flight training devices, APT+ systems and aircraft mock‑ups.
• Monitor and evaluate crew progress against the course schedule and ensure competency standards are met.
• Maintain personal Instructor Competencies and stay aware of compliance risks.

Required profile

• Professional experience in aviation training or pilot instruction.
• Strong knowledge of Airbus aircraft systems and performance concepts.
• Ability to assess learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
• Commitment to integrity, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• FBS (Full‑Flight Simulator) operation.
• FTD (Flight Training Device) usage.
• APT+ (Airline Procedure Trainer) proficiency.
• Aircraft mock‑up handling.
