Help Desk Technician – Customer Support

About the role

We are seeking a competent Help Desk Technician to provide fast, reliable technical assistance to our users. You will respond to queries on basic technical issues, diagnose problems, and guide customers toward effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and mobile device issues.
• Utilise remote‑control tools to assist users directly on their machines.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the support database.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a help desk technician or in a similar customer‑support role.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and common office automation tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with patience when dealing with difficult users.
• BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
