About the role
The role involves overseeing the daily welfare, discipline and safety of residents in a hostel environment across Singapore. The officer ensures a secure, supportive living space while coordinating educational and recreational activities.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily welfare, discipline and regimentation of hostel residents.
- Manage safety and security protocols, including body checks, patrols, dormitory inspections and urine tests when required.
- Provide care for residents’ daily living needs.
- Plan and conduct educational and recreational activities.
- Foster positive relationships and facilitate restorative circles.
- Participate in admission processes for new residents.
- Support various taskforces and adapt to rotating shifts.
Required profile
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience (5 years preferred for senior roles).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Resilient, integrity‑driven and service‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
