Hotel Technician – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

Join Accor’s award‑winning ibis Singapore as a Hotel Technician, supporting the Assistant Chief Engineer and Senior Duty Engineer in keeping the property’s equipment and facilities running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist daily department operations to ensure efficient facility management.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical appliances, locks, heating, air‑conditioning and bathroom fixtures.
• Carry out minor renovation tasks such as painting, carpeting and furnishing.
• Inspect systems regularly, identify faults and coordinate timely repairs to minimise downtime.
• Conduct regular checks on firefighting equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain detailed daily logs of maintenance work and update safety‑related administrative documents.
• Provide prompt technical support to colleagues for any facility issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel, facilities or construction maintenance.
• ITE/Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical/Electronics or Air‑Conditioning servicing.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office for documentation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with mechanics.
