HR Assistant / Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Assistant / Executive to support our people operations. You will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management and day‑to‑day HR administration, ensuring smooth and compliant processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment for staff‑level positions: job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including pre‑employment documentation, contracts, orientation and HR system setup.
• Assist with work pass applications (Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit), renewals and cancellations.
• Manage off‑boarding processes: resignation paperwork, clearance and exit procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Respond to employee HR enquiries and provide day‑to‑day operational support.
• Organise company events and employee engagement activities.
• Prepare HR letters and documents such as employment and confirmation letters.
• Administer employee leave, attendance and related HR records.
• Liaise with employees and internal departments to ensure seamless HR processes.
• Support HR projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin‑speaking employees overseas.
• Strong interpersonal skills, independent, proactive, meticulous and able to work under pressure.
