HR Associate – Asia Pacific (Singapore)

About the role

As an HR Associate supporting Tencent’s Asia Pacific business, you will be based in Singapore and help deliver an exceptional employee experience across the region. You will work closely with HR partners, business leaders and regional stakeholders to drive people initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end execution of HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless experiences and operational excellence in the Asia Pacific region.
• Collaborate with regional and global HR teams on strategic people initiatives, cross‑border projects and organizational programs.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, company events, wellness programs, recognition initiatives and culture‑building campaigns.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to manage HR operations such as documentation, onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility and policy administration.
• Prepare, analyse and maintain HR dashboards, workforce reports and people analytics to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and internal policies, supporting audits and regulatory submissions, especially in Singapore.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support, respond to enquiries, facilitate issue resolution and assist with employee relations matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, automate tasks and enhance employee experience through technology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations or a related function, or an outstanding recent graduate with relevant internship experience.
