HR Generalist - Recruitment & People Operations

About the role

Rarespawn Ventures is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to support recruitment and people operations across its regional entities in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam. The role offers hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding and record management, within a lean regional HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for open positions, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting and coordinating interview schedules.
• Post job openings on approved job boards and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Prepare offer letters, track basic recruitment metrics and support reporting.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, day‑1 activities and pre‑boarding tasks with hiring managers.
• Monitor probation timelines, send reminders to line managers and maintain employee records in the HRIS.
• Assist with off‑boarding administration and respond to day‑to‑day HR queries.
• Ensure data accuracy in ATS and HRIS and help prepare routine HR and recruitment reports.
• Support rollout of HR projects aimed at improving employee experience and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of functional HR experience, with at least 3 years focused on recruitment.
• Demonstrated experience hiring for software development and related roles.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑country environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Experience using a HR Information System (HRIS).
