HR Manager – Singapore & Malaysia Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of Human Resources for our Singapore and Malaysia operations. The role combines strategic HR partnering with hands‑on operational excellence to drive payroll, employee experience, talent initiatives and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders on people strategies, workforce planning and HR policy guidance.
• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll for Singapore and Malaysia through outsourced vendors, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
• Manage employee benefits, tax reporting, leave administration and insurance.
• Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning and learning programmes.
• Lead employee engagement, culture‑building initiatives and handle employee relations matters.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation across both countries and maintain HRIS, employee records and reporting.
• Support HR process improvements, audits, digitalisation and oversee office administration and vendor management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to HR operations, payroll and employment legislation in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Hands‑on experience managing outsourced payroll vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, analytical and detail‑oriented.
