Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to join Andaz Singapore, a lifestyle hotel by Hyatt. You will combine empathy with sound judgement, structure with creativity, and strategic thinking with a bias for action to champion colleague well‑being and strengthen our culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hotel leadership and department heads to translate business priorities into practical people strategies and workforce plans.
• Lead the full colleague lifecycle – talent acquisition, onboarding, associate relations, performance management, development, engagement and off‑boarding.
• Provide trusted, balanced advice on associate matters while ensuring compliance with Singapore employment legislation, internal policies and Hyatt standards.
• Drive engagement, recognition, wellness and culture‑building initiatives that foster an inclusive, high‑performing workplace.
• Oversee HR operations, records management and accurate reporting.
• Manage work‑pass and visa applications, maintaining full documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Use HR data, trends and feedback to identify opportunities, recommend solutions and track impact of people initiatives.
• Support organisational change, manpower planning, succession planning and emerging‑talent development.
• Continuously improve HR processes and colleague experiences through technology, simplification and fresh ideas.
• Be visible, approachable and ready to roll up sleeves, removing obstacles and following through to completion.

Required profile

• At least three years’ experience as an Assistant Human Resources Manager, or two years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager.
• Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
