Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are a well‑established industrial organisation seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders and manage a team responsible for the full employee lifecycle, employee relations, recruitment, rewards, and workforce engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations across onboarding, mobility, performance management, employee relations and off‑boarding.
• Act as the primary advisor on employee and industrial relations, handling investigations, disciplinary cases, grievances and union engagements.
• Drive recruitment and workforce planning in collaboration with business leaders.
• Manage annual performance cycles, talent reviews, succession planning and employee development programmes.
• Support compensation and benefits activities, including salary reviews, bonus exercises and market benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation, internal policies and governance requirements.
• Lead employee engagement, culture, change management and internal communications initiatives.
• Develop and mentor the HR team, fostering continuous improvement and service excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 8‑12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or a unionised environment.
• Proven ability to manage employee relations cases, investigations and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Professional HR certifications (IHRP, SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
