Instructor Aide (Ang Mo Kio)

About the role

The Instructor Aide will provide training support at the Centre for Adults, delivering structured programmes for beneficiaries in both the Day Activity Centre and the Sheltered Workshop. This role focuses on fostering engagement, skill development, and holistic care for individuals with special needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engagement skills and structured training programmes for beneficiaries.
• Supervise and assist individuals using coaching, task breakdown, and behavioural support strategies.
• Create visual aids, task analyses, and structured routines to facilitate learning.
• Collaborate with beneficiaries, families, instructors, allied professionals, alumni, and community partners.
• Maintain programme documentation, progress records, and assist with operational planning and administrative duties.
• Support centre events, community initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, adapting to programme and operational needs.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec qualification or equivalent.
• Passionate, proactive, and creative with a desire to make a positive community impact.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working with clients who have special needs.
• Administrative experience is advantageous.
