Interior Designer – Workplace & Commercial Projects

About the role

Aedas is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join its multidisciplinary team. You will work on workplace and commercial projects, contributing to design concepts that enhance built environments and support sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in space planning, layout development, and detailed design work.
• Support design presentations, material boards, and visualisation efforts.
• Prepare construction drawings and documentation for design and build phases.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants on finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Maintain project documentation with a focus on consistency and detail.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar interior design role.
• Proven experience in workplace design and project liaison.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and interior design principles.
• Excellent decision‑making, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in 3ds Max.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
