Inventory Reporting Controller – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Inventory Reporting Controller will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of inventory accounting across a complex global supply chain for a manufacturing client. This 1‑year contract role works closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, and Business Unit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close activities and inventory reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis for inventory.
• Oversee inventory valuation, scrap reporting, and compliance with IFRS, SOX, and internal controls.
• Consolidate reporting using SAP and Power BI.
• Support inventory governance and audit processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of finance or controlling experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost control, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with compliance frameworks, audit processes and governance requirements.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA ERP (manufacturing environment).
• Power BI for analytics and reporting.
