IT and Security Operations Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT and Security Operations Engineer to be the primary point of contact for our Singapore office. You will ensure the stability, performance, and security of the local IT environment while collaborating closely with global IT and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day end‑user support for hardware, operating systems, peripherals and network access, maintaining high service levels and meeting SLA targets.
• Act as the first line of response for local network issues (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN) and manage on‑site infrastructure hardware, including rack installation, inspection and routine maintenance.
• Enforce global security policies locally, covering endpoint compliance (EDR, patching), access management (MFA, Zero Trust) and audit readiness.
• Serve as the local first responder for security incidents, coordinating with global security teams for threat containment, isolation and digital forensics.
• Partner with global IT and security teams to manage assets, execute projects and ensure all local operations follow established security protocols and SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in onsite IT support or operations with a strong focus on ticket resolution and service excellence.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS endpoints; experience with MDM, Intune or GPO is a plus.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi and VPN technologies and the ability to resolve common connectivity problems.
• Experience managing endpoint security solutions (EDR/Antivirus) and access tools (MFA/SSO) with awareness of data compliance and privacy requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills and a disciplined, analytical approach to problem‑solving.
