IT Business Analyst (SAP Basis module)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with a focus on SAP Basis to work closely with Finance and IT teams. The role involves translating business needs into system solutions, applying design thinking, and supporting both BAU operations and change requests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and maintain Windows and Linux systems in hybrid (on‑premise and cloud) environments.
• Support critical resort applications such as PMS, POS, booking engines, surveillance and access control.
• Administer SAP Basis tasks: notes, patching, RFC configuration, SSO, transport management, Web Dispatcher, add‑on installation and updates.
• Operate AWS and Azure cloud services, ensuring disaster‑recovery and high‑availability for hospitality and gaming systems.
• Implement proactive monitoring with Nagios, Zabbix or CloudWatch and perform root‑cause analysis of incidents.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Terraform or PowerShell and maintain configuration baselines.
• Schedule and monitor SAP housekeeping jobs (ABAP dump reorg, spool reorg, performance collector).
• Enforce security best practices, manage patching, endpoint security and compliance with PCI‑DSS and GDPR.

Required profile

• Business analyst mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Experience partnering with Finance and IT to define system requirements.
• Familiarity with design thinking and process improvement.
• Ability to support both operational and change‑request activities.
