IT Engineer – Workplace & SaaS Operations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Engineer to ensure our workplace runs smoothly, our tools stay sharp, and our IT spend remains transparent. The role operates with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of tickets, projects, and contracts from scoping through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, execute, and deliver ad‑hoc IT initiatives such as office moves and SaaS rollouts.
• Manage hardware and software procurement, track subscriptions, and optimise IT spend.
• Control SaaS license allocation, audit usage, eliminate shadow IT, and handle contract renewals.
• Maintain office network health and security, including firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi access points and VPNs.
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships, enforce SLAs and build scalable partnerships.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across Windows, macOS, SaaS platforms and IoT networks.
• Develop and run AI‑driven scripts to automate complex administration tasks.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional who can work independently and take end‑to‑end ownership of IT projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost transparency.
• Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiation and cross‑team collaboration.

Required skills

• Windows operating system administration.
• macOS administration.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and license management.
• Network infrastructure knowledge – firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi access points, VPNs.
• IoT network troubleshooting.
• Scripting or automation experience, preferably leveraging AI tools.
