IT Infrastructure Engineer (System & Network)

About the role

Adventus is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain both system and network environments for its global clientele. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of virtualized and physical infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Hyper‑V and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall solutions.
• Monitor system performance, apply patches, and perform routine upgrades.
• Resolve hardware, software, and network incidents.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in system and network administration.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization (Hyper‑V/VMware) and Windows Server services.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure components (switching, routing, firewalls).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Azure) are a plus.
