IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join Global Payments’ Information Technology team. In this position you will ensure employees worldwide stay connected, productive and secure by delivering reliable hardware, software and network support.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues to minimise downtime.
• Proactively diagnose and remediate technical problems to improve service performance.
• Deploy, configure and maintain devices and applications for new hires and existing staff.
• Maintain accurate asset records to support compliance and lifecycle planning.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and optimise support processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on end‑user technical support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Active Directory and managing user access.
• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud services, Google Workspace and other enterprise productivity tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication and prioritisation abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
