Java Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a software development team responsible for building and supporting business applications and web‑based solutions. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding user requirements and designing applications to testing, integration, deployment and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain web and business applications using Java and related technologies.
• Participate in requirement discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design, code and perform unit testing following development standards and best practices.
• Support both backend and frontend development, including integration with external systems.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Prepare technical specifications, user guides and system documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience, preferably in Java/J2EE.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java frameworks, MVC architecture and Hibernate.
• Experience developing or integrating REST APIs and working with frontend technologies.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing practices and application deployment.
