Junior Accountant – Construction (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team within the construction sector. The role is based at our Expo office in Singapore and offers a permanent position with a competitive salary package.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full set of accounts, including receivables, payables and the general ledger.
• Handle tax matters such as quarterly GST filings and corporate income tax.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank and other balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience; construction industry experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and GST regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ABSS (MYOB) accounting software.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.

What we offer

• Basic salary up to SGD 5,000 per month.
