Junior Analyst / Associate, Business Management

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Analyst/Associate to join the Business Management team of SGX FX. In this role you will support the daily operational and regulatory cadence of our OTC FX business, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth, ensure compliance and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry and competitor research to feed growth strategies and business intelligence.
• Assist in gathering and analysing business intelligence to enhance SGX FX’s value proposition.
• Streamline operational workflows, including regulatory reporting and periodic parent‑group reporting.
• Maintain and safeguard internal controls, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational continuity.
• Support cost tracking, budget discipline and procurement management processes.
• Document and update internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Help operationalise regulatory and licensing initiatives for new entities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities to foster collaboration across SGX FX business units.
• Participate in ad‑hoc business management projects and support tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Up to 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
