Kubernetes Engineer – Cloud Migration (Grade 5)

About the role

The Kubernetes Engineer will lead the migration and deployment of containerised workloads to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). You will ensure platform stability, support CI/CD pipelines, and resolve technical incidents across cloud and container environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute migration of containerised workloads to AKS and configure Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Kubernetes resources using YAML manifests and Helm charts.
• Administer and monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilisation.
• Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Provide technical support, incident resolution, and ticket documentation.
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architects, and junior engineers to share knowledge and improve services.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Azure and Kubernetes implementation and operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Linux system administration, and container platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud‑native environments.
