Lead Systems Administrator / Engineer

About the role

You will lead and mentor a team of system engineers responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of our Windows Server infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strategic oversight to ensure high availability, security and performance across all services.

Key responsibilities

• Assign tasks, track performance and act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server environments, including user accounts, GPOs and DHCP.
• Deploy, manage and maintain virtual machines using Microsoft Hyper‑V and SCVMM, handling live migration, clustering and snapshots.
• Configure and support RADIUS/NPS for secure network authentication.
• Manage internal PKI infrastructure – certificate issuance, renewal and revocation.
• Apply security patches and updates via WSUS, SCCM or third‑party tools.
• Integrate Windows event logs into a SIEM for proactive incident detection.
• Maintain terminal servers, file/print servers, storage quotas and shared permissions.
• Provide urgent troubleshooting, recovery and support for onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Assist internal teams with infrastructure requests such as VM provisioning and firewall rule adjustments.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows Server administration and system infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
