Leasing Manager – Retail Portfolio (Singapore)

About the role

The client, a reputable REIT with a strong global presence, is seeking a Leasing Manager to drive occupancy and rental performance for its retail portfolio across shopping malls in Singapore. You will lead tenancy management, market research and business development to secure new retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute strategies to maximise rental income and occupancy rates.
• Manage new and existing tenancies, including lease negotiations and issue resolution.
• Conduct market research on competitors, rental benchmarks and occupancy trends.
• Prepare and maintain occupancy, rental and budgeting reports.
• Identify and pursue new tenancy prospects, supporting business development initiatives.
• Assist the Support Manager with annual rental budgeting, forecasts and monthly management reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Estate Management, Business or Marketing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail leasing.
• Strong understanding of leasing processes, workflows and tenancy matters.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive network within the retail sector.
• Possession of an EAA or RES certification.
