Lecturer - Cyber & Network Security

About the role

The position is a two‑year contract to teach Cyber and Network Security at ITE College East. You will guide students in both theoretical concepts and practical skills, while staying connected to industry trends through consultancy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver course material for on‑premise and cloud networking, system administration, IT security, digital forensics, penetration testing and programming.
• Facilitate e‑learning, enrichment activities and self‑directed learning modules.
• Supervise student projects, competitions and internships.
• Maintain strong linkages with industry partners and schools, including regular industry attachments.
• Participate in academic administration, student mentoring, outreach programmes and community work.
• Engage in research activities for continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Security.
• Relevant work experience in the security industry is preferred.
• Passion for teaching and student development.
• Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies.
