About the role

As a Lecturer in Pastry & Baking at ITE College West, you will inspire and guide students through the art and science of pastry and baking. You will combine classroom instruction with real‑world industry exposure to ensure graduates are ready for professional kitchens.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, workshops and practical sessions on pastry and baking techniques.
• Develop and maintain industry or consultancy projects to keep curriculum current.
• Foster strong linkages with culinary businesses and schools.
• Participate in regular industry attachments to update personal skills and knowledge.
• Mentor students in their lifelong learning and career development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in pastry and baking.
• Preferably award‑winning in culinary competitions (pastry/desserts category).
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• Team‑player attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
