Lecturer – Pharmaceutical Science (Teaching & Research)

About the role

The university is seeking a dynamic Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science to deliver high‑quality teaching and drive applied research. The successful candidate will educate students in pharmacology, pharmacy practice, management, compounding, and regulatory affairs while fostering industry collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and practicum sessions both face‑to‑face and via online platforms.
• Develop teaching and training materials using the latest educational technologies.
• Conduct competency training aligned with Ministry of Health pharmacy technician standards.
• Support curriculum development to match industry competencies.
• Leverage industry network to secure internships, scholarships and sponsorships for students.
• Utilise AI and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Lead research, innovation and interdisciplinary projects with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Supervise and mentor students on industry and research projects, including quality improvement, digitalisation, automation and formulation development.
• Provide pastoral care and career‑readiness mentorship.

Required profile

• Pharmacy qualification recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• 3‑5 years of experience in pharmacy settings or pharmaceutical industry.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring and applied research.
• Ability to work independently and within diverse teams.
