Legal Counsel, Engineering Procurement & Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the full lifecycle of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. You will work closely with project, procurement and commercial teams to provide practical legal advice in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support across project development, tendering, contract negotiation, execution and delivery.
• Draft, review and negotiate EPC contracts, consultancy agreements, procurement contracts, subcontractor agreements and other commercial documentation.
• Identify legal and commercial risks, advise on contract administration, claims and dispute management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal governance requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer under Singapore law or another common law jurisdiction.
• 4–7 years of experience advising on EPC, construction, infrastructure or large‑scale engineering projects, either in private practice or in‑house.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver practical legal advice in a dynamic project environment.
• Experience with cross‑border projects in the Asia‑Pacific region is an advantage.
