Logistics Assistant – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Logistics Assistant will support Thales' Singapore operations by handling inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate receipt, proper labeling, and safe storage of parts and cargo. This role is based at CEVA Logistics in Changi South and works closely with the supply‑chain team to maintain smooth material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Physically receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers and condition against shipping documents.
• Label or tag individual parts and cargo as required.
• Manage quarantine items, including photographing and documenting any discrepancies.
• Collect and recycle packaging materials such as protective cushioning and custom boxes.
• Prepare final packing, arrange export or customer shipments, and book transportation.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including dangerous goods paperwork when applicable.
• Monitor and arrange calibration or servicing of essential equipment (e.g., weighing scales, material‑handling tools).

Required profile

• Minimum O‑Level education.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Basic computer literacy (internet browsing, email, etc.).
