M&A Operations Senior Associate – Deals Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Deals Advisory team, focusing on M&A Operations. You will support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, from pre‑deal diligence to post‑deal integration, helping them maximise value and achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple client engagements, reporting to managers and senior leaders.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with private‑equity investors, corporate C‑suite, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct pre‑deal due diligence, assess value‑creation levers, and support post‑deal control transitions.
• Participate in carve‑out, post‑merger integration, finance and operations process improvement, and business plan reviews.
• Contribute to business development activities by identifying and researching new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university.
• 2–5 years of experience in M&A, divestitures, or related transaction work.
• Hands‑on experience with pre‑deal due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy analysis, and post‑deal transformation.
• Strong understanding of operating models, products, and services; data migration experience is a plus.
• Ability to quickly assess business performance and recommend improvements.
