Manager – Chief Allied Health Office

About the role

The Manager, Chief Allied Health Office (CAHO) provides strategic, operational and administrative leadership for allied health professions across the organization. This senior role translates strategic direction into actionable plans, drives key programmes, and ensures robust governance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support and shape CAHO’s strategic direction for allied health service delivery and clinical governance.
• Lead change‑management initiatives to adopt new policies and programmes.
• Develop and implement allied health strategies, SOPs and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Service Division Directors and Heads of Allied Health Professionals to optimise care models.
• Prepare briefing papers, reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Monitor progress of strategic initiatives and track key performance indicators.
• Oversee projects and programmes within CAHO, ensuring timely execution.
• Facilitate meetings, working groups and committees related to allied health matters.
• Support budgeting, procurement and resource planning as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Management, Public Health, Allied Health) – advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, social services or allied health management.
• Strong planning, project management and monitoring & evaluation capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
