Manager, Corporate Development & Investor Relations

About the role

Airwallex is seeking a Manager to join its Corporate Development and Investor Relations team. You will work alongside experienced ex‑bulge‑bracket bankers to drive fundraising, M&A, and strategic finance initiatives that shape the company’s growth across new products and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze resource deployment and develop partnership, investment, or acquisition strategies that create long‑term strategic value.
• Evaluate white‑space business, product, and market opportunities within the ecosystem.
• Collaborate with executives on fundraising activities and investor communications.
• Build operating and financial models to support business cases.
• Execute high‑impact transactions, including identifying acquisition targets, managing negotiations, deal structuring, financial analysis, and due diligence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate development, fundraising, and M&A, preferably from a bulge‑bracket banking background.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent judgment, curiosity, and a results‑oriented mindset.
