Materials Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Planner to drive the creation and execution of production schedules that align with demand forecasts and customer delivery commitments. The role ensures material availability, monitors production flow, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with procurement to secure required materials and resolve any shortages.
• Track production progress using ERP systems and adjust plans to meet delivery timelines.
• Analyze plan‑versus‑actual variances and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while preventing disruptions in the production flow.
• Work closely with shop‑floor supervisors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Technical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience with SAP PP or similar production planning modules is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
