Merchant Acquisition Executive

About the role

We are looking for a highly driven Merchant Acquisition Executive to expand EPOS’s merchant network across Singapore. In this field‑based, hunting role you will meet business owners face‑to‑face, understand their needs and introduce our POS and payment solutions to secure new sign‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify and acquire new merchants through active field sales, canvassing and cold outreach.
• Visit retail shops, F&B outlets and service providers regularly to generate sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using cold calls, walk‑ins, referrals and market research.
• Assess merchants’ operational requirements and recommend appropriate EPOS products.
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales, managing the full sales cycle from qualification to onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and activation of merchant accounts.
• Maintain accurate records, pipeline updates and activity reports in the CRM system.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and emerging merchant needs.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual acquisition targets.

Required profile

• Confident in face‑to‑face interactions and relationship building.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Singapore.
