Mobile Software Engineer – Google Pay Client Infrastructure

About the role

Google Pay is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to help scale its client foundation for millions of users. You will own the core architecture, release systems and developer ecosystem of the Flutter‑based Google Pay app, ensuring high performance, security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core application architectures and secure platform integration layers.
• Optimize critical app health metrics such as ANR, startup latency, app size, memory usage and frame rates.
• Build and maintain release pipelines, automated testing infrastructure and developer tools.
• Leverage AI‑powered solutions to automate diagnostics, streamline workflows and increase developer velocity.
• Collaborate with executive engineers, product managers, UX designers and cross‑functional partners (Security, Release, Product) to drive architectural initiatives end‑to‑end.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience (or 1 year with an advanced degree).
• Current right to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship.
• Experience developing mobile applications on Android, iOS or Flutter.
